Many times a person will shy-away from trying SCUBA Diving because they think it is too difficult or it requires them to be a great swimmer.
This is just not true! In fact, 9 times out of 10, once they try it they are hooked!
This is why Crystal Diver offers our Discover SCUBA Diving Class.
This 1/2-hour class will help you do 2 things:
1. You will learn some of the basics of SCUBA diving and put to rest any fears you may have and
2. You will get in the pool with a certified Dive Master, with all the equipment on, and see for yourself just how easy it is.
The Discover SCUBA Diving class is only $25.00 and includes everything you need.
If after participating in this class you decide sign up for our PADI Open Water course, the $25.00 fee will be applied to the Open Water course fee.
We offer the Discover SCUBA Diving class every Monday but you have to register 3 or 4 days in advance. Other dates may be available upon request.
PADI SCUBA Diver Resort Course - 2 dives - $200
This is the lowest level of certification that PADI offers. It is a lifetime certification, but has some limitations. You can dive world-wide, but you must be accompanied by a Dive Master, and there is a recommended maximum depth of forty feet. Many people don't want to dive without a Dive Master anyway, so that may not present a problem. If you want to rent tanks and dive on your own, you should take Open Water Diver rather than PADI Scuba Diver.
Students have the option to upgrade to full Open Water Diver at anytime after completion of the course. This course takes less time than the Full Open Water, and is a great option for those who want a certification, but intend to dive only at resorts where a Dive Master accompanies all divers.
PADI SCUBA Diver Referral Course $200
"Referral" mean that you finish your certification after classroom and confined water training have been completed successfully back home. You bring your paperwork with you that shows you passed your tests and skills, and simply finish your course dives on the island. This is a great option, no studying for tests while on vacation!
PADI Classroom Course - 2 days - $150
